Sign language

sign languageSign language is an autonomous, visual language developed by deaf people over generations. As with other languages, each national language and dialect also differs in sign language. Therefore German sign language has different dialect forms as used for instance in Hamburg or Berlin, amongst others. Grammatical rules are also applicable to this form of language.

Sign language is transmitted from the sender to the recipient by means of non-verbal communication, such as posture and facial expression as well as specific hand signals - hence the name. Fix Language Services can provide qualified, sign language interpreters for presentations, court hearings or conferences on request.
